CLAFUSE (conjugated linoleic acid, CLA) is a derivative of linoleic acid and a unique form of omega-6 fatty acid. It is chemically and functionally different from omega-6 oil derived from flax seeds. CLA is necessary in the human diet, but it is only present in small amounts in food.
